Live Well Suffolk services from 1st April 2016
March 3rd, 2016Live Well Suffolk, the county’s free healthy lifestyle service, will no longer be running programmes in Suffolk after the 31 March 2016.
Over the past five years we have supported thousands of the county’s residents to stop smoking, lose weight, eat healthier and become more active.
Live Well Suffolk is provided by Thrive Tribe and while we would have liked to continue our services in Suffolk, Suffolk County Council has commissioned a new, different service which will be available across the county from 1st April.
This website will continue to be available for anyone who wants completely free, easy-to-access resources and will include more details of Thrive Tribe’s work in the future.
Managing Director of Thrive Tribe, Tim Roberts, said: “We have had a tremendous five years operating in Suffolk. In this time we have built up a fantastic team who have been dedicated to helping residents across the county turn their lives around and take steps towards a healthier future. The feedback we have received from people who have used our services and the partners we work with has been fantastic year after year.”
“Thrive Tribe provides a range of services and programmes in other parts of the country and we will be taking everything we have learnt in Suffolk to improve these programmes. We will also continue to work with Suffolk County Council and Sport England on our innovative, Suffolk-based Get Healthy Get Into Sport programme. We will stay true to our values in providing innovative services with a heart.”
